It all started when…
I pressed the button of my Polaroid 1000 Land Camera and out popped a photo.
Admittedly, it was both awful and brilliant at the same time - mostly down to the single element, plastic fixed-focus lens, but I was hooked.
30-or-so years later I’m still pressing buttons on cameras - hoping to produce something more brilliant than awful, but it’s often the ‘mistake’ shots that have the Polaroid appeal of those early photos I took.
Less thought. More spontaneity.
